Cabin Construction
The cabin is constructed of 28mm thick logs which are manufactured from high grade, slow grown, sustainably sourced, northern European pine. The roofing and flooring is made up of tongue and groove and the floor bearers come pressure treated for longer life.
Roof Construction
The cabin features an apex style roof which is designed to create a more spacious interior. The roof canopy design will give a traditional looking cabin on the outside whilst supplying a shaded area when needed. covered with a high quality mineral felt to protect the building from weather damage and damp occurring. The option to add stylish roof shingles is available to create a decorative tiled roof finish.
Georgian Style Windows
The Georgian style windows and doors are manufactured from traditional 4mm toughened glass which is single glazed. The matching Georgian style doors and opening window gives the exterior of this cabin a graceful look whilst giving this cabin a bright and well ventilated interior.

The Loxely 3.6m x 3.6m Boston Log Cabin is a wonderful example of a traditional log cabin with a contemporary touch. This cabin has a stunning opening georgian style window and matching door to create an elegant exterior. The 28mm thick logs used in the manufacture of this building ensure a cosy place to relax or work.
The glazed frontal provides plenty of natural light with a roof canopy to provide shade when necessary. The window and door have high quality mortise and tenon joinery and are fitted with draft excluders to compliment the storm resistant design.
The roof and floor are tongued and grooved timber and the floor bearers are pressure treated for long life. It is manufactured from high grade, slow grown, sustainably sourced, northern European pine. The building is delivered untreated for painting or staining immediately following installation.
All fixings, mineral roof felt and assembly instructions are provided. Allowance should be made for the roof overhang and for access around the outside during construction and subsequent treatment.
This product is Untreated. It is ESSENTIAL that you treat the garden building with a high quality, spirit-based, timber preservative immediately after assembly in order to activate any stated guarantee. This treatment will protect the timber from weathering and will need to be repeated accordingly in relation to manufacturer’s instructions.
We aim to deliver all products as soon as possible. Please check individual product pages for delivery lead times and services associated with each product in your order. Below is an outline of the services we offer on Loxley log cabins.
Standard Delivery
Following your order being processed you will receive an SMS text message introducing ourselves with an invitation to visit our dedicated delivery booking website where you can select your own delivery date. Our Customer Care team will attempt to contact any customers that have not booked a delivery date within 24hrs of this SMS being sent to offer further assistance.
You will then receive another SMS text message the working day before your delivery date with a 4 hour time slot to give you a good indication of when your order will arrive.
A final SMS will be sent to you the morning of your delivery with a link to track your delivery in real time. This means you will have a more accurate indication of when your order will arrive whilst being made fully aware of any unexpected delays.
Following delivery a confirmation will be sent to you for your reference as proof of delivery.
Lead times for standard services are stated at the top of the page and may be extended depending on location and circumstances. Upgraded services may also result in a longer lead time.
Installation Service
Installation is available on many of our log cabins for most UK postcodes and the lead time is normally between 14-21 working days after your order has been delivered. This is to ensure that you have fully inspected the product and are happy to proceed. In busy periods this lead-time may increase.
Delivery FAQ
Do I need to be home for my Delivery?
No, you do not need to be home for your delivery. All we ask is that you let us know via email to let us know that you will not be present for the delivery. In the email please let us know where a suitable place would be to leave the building. Our delivery drivers are NOT allowed to place your log cabin in your back gardens even if the gate is left open.
Will I need to help my delivery driver?
Our drivers DO NOT need your help during a delivery. They will not ask for your help and they can manage all the items themselves. We are not insured to cover any customer injuries and therefore we ask you NOT to help or try and help our drivers while they make a delivery.
My house has a restricted access, what do I do?
Our drivers are only contracted to provide kerbside drop offs and deliveries. They will NOT bring any of our orders through your home. A driver may offer to take an order further; for instance a back garden but this is ONLY at their own discretion. If you have any questions about access or you live in a restricted access zone please contact us prior to ordering.
My Order Has Not Been Delivered, What Should I Do?
We deliver between 8am and 7pm. If your order has not been delivered when expected please click here.
Please Note: Additional items such as paint, furniture or storage units may be delivered separately on a different day to your main product. If you have ordered multiple products in one order then you are likely to receive multiple deliveries.
